Christian Apologetics & Bible Doctrine
Defending The Faith Once For All Delivered To The Saints
For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will
gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.  II Timothy 4:3

The purpose of this website is to present true Christian Apologetics and Bible Doctrine as it is found in the Word of God, The Holy Bible. But how are we to discern what is true Christian doctrine from the vast amounts of false doctrine, false teaching, and false teachers who are running rampant in "Christian churches" today. With the use of text, video and audio messages, we offer information to help you discern what is true doctrine and teachings of the Bible with what is being presented as the truth today.

1John 4:1 tell us, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

When we look at different religious groups, their teachings and teachers as well as the doctrines that these groups are professing, we sometime hear some people say, "The Bible says we are not to judge others. Why are you judging these people." The simple truth is, that there is a difference between difference between judging a person and discerning of false teachings. The Bible commands us to, "Test The Spirit" (1 John 4:1) to see if they are from God. In Acts 17:11 we read. "Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily, whether these things were so." There you have the word of God, the Bible, telling us that when someone tells us something, and they say that message or doctrine they are presenting to us is from Jesus Christ, our first duty according to the Bible is to test what they say God has said with what we know God has told us in His Word, The Bible. This is Christian Apologetics. Testing doctrine to see if it is true.

It wasn't all that many years ago that it was not that hard to tell false doctrine from true. But as the saying goes, "If you tell a lie enough times, it can start to sound like the truth." For the longest time the main areas of false teaching and doctrine that was confronting the Christian church was found in groups like The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, (Mormon) Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Science and many others. What appear to be "Christian churches" are teaching things that are not in line with essential, historic, Christian teachings.

Dr. Norman Geisler was a powerful Defender of the faith who went home to the
Lord July 1, 2019. In this short video he is asked what got him into apologtics.

Doctrines like, sin, repentance, the Trinity, Salvation by grace alone, through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, and the deity of Jesus Christ are being downplayed or removed altogether and replaced by more "seeker sensitive ideas. These false teachers are telling their followers doctrines and practices that is not in harmony with the Bible and in many cases are called "doctrines of demons" in God's Word the Bible. Contemplative prayer, prayer paths or Prayer Labyrinths which are actually taken from new age and Hindu practices are being introduced and accepted by many churches that are moving towards the Emergent Church movement today.

In the book of Genesis 3:4,5 we read, And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." This lie of Satan, that men can become gods that was first taught in the Garden of Eden was and is still taught in The Mormon church.  But this false teaching, that was in the past found only in the kingdom of the cults and the New Age Movement. However, now this and other false teachings are being taught in "Christian" churches by false teachers like Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Hagin and others.

Creflo Dollar says "we are gods" and spends several minutes showing from the Bible about animals begetting "after their  kind." He says, "horses beget horses, Dogs beget dogs." He then moves on to say that since we are made in God's image then "we are little gods" because god begets gods. Creflo Dollar fails to mention that we are "made in God's image, Not Begotten. If a man makes a bowl out of clay, the bowl is not a man it is a bowl. It is just a creation of the man. Just as we are a creation of God, but we are not gods in the remotest sense of the word. The main reason this false teaching is so wrong is that we are by nature human, and God is God by Nature. So you can see the same lie Satan started in the Garden of Eden is still being spread today and leading humans away from the truth about God.

Many of these movements are very popular and considered by many to be welcome additions to the church to reach more people. But what is the message behind these movements and are they teaching the truth to those who are coming to the movement? To name a few, The Word of Faith movement, or the Health and Wealth gospel, The Seeker Sensitive movement, The Emergent Church and other movements brought into the "Christian church" through such popular books as "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren as well as books like "Become A Better You" by author Joel Osteen and others. What are they teaching? But more importantly, what is being left out of their messages, which is being taught as the Truth? Many areas of these movements are part of the Postmodernism teaching. But as you compare those teaching with Historic Christianity you soon see many dangers of postmodernism.

What is left out is the doctrine of sin and our need to repent of sin and turn from it to Christ. As the message of many of these teachers is watered down to a motivational message of self improvement and the fact that we are all sinners in need of a savior is left out of their message, we are becoming a church that is filled with "Carnal Christians." The question arises, if  you can't tell the difference between the "Christians" and non-Christians, is there a difference? The second question is, are those who say they are Christians but are living like the world really born again Christians who truly know Christ as savior?
