The one-make Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo racing series has gone onto become one of the most thrilling and exciting racing series in the world, thanks to all cars being identical meaning race results are purely down to driver ability.
With that being said however, all drivers have a pretty potent machine to manhandle around some of the world’s most famous racetracks, including Italy’s Monzo Formula One circuit.
Although the Gallardo Super Trofeo racers may utilize slightly detuned engines from the road-going car’s, their unique exhaust note clearly makes up for this deficit as evidenced by the following video shot by NM2255 on YouTube.
NM2255 was able to capture some blistering accelerations from a unique red SuperTrofeo racer and the potency of these cars has never been clearer.
