Mercedes-Benz AMG gives owners the opportunity to customize their vehicle aside from all series options. The German carmaker offers a range of individualization options for both the interior and exterior. These additional features include exclusive paint finishes, hand-sewn leather upholstery and trim elements from all kind of materials — wood, piano lacquer, leather, carbon and even stone.
The AMG Performance Studio in Affalterbach has released a time lapse video to give people an idea of what can be done. In this video a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG receives some cosmetic touches.
The modern day Gullwing is partially stripped down and repainted in the color Yosemite Blue. Because this color is not available as a series color and an unpainted car can’t be taken off the assembly line, the customized color has to be applied afterwards. The colored carbon fiber options are also only available through the AMG Performance Studio.
