Only ten days ago we reported that BMW will create a sports car on the basis of the Vision EfficientDynamics concept by 2013 and today insiders say that the new supercar from Munich gets the name “i8”.
The “i” obviously comes from BMW’s Project i, while the number definitely refers to one of BMW’s nicest sports car ever, the 850ci.
This is all known so far but we believe BMW will release more soon, so please stay tuned!
